We are excited to invite you to present at the 2025 Commonwealth of Virginia (COV) Information Security Conference (ISC)! This year’s event, hosted by the Information Security (IS) Council and Conference Committee, will feature the theme:

Future-Proofing Cybersecurity: Next-Gen Strategies

The 2025 COV ISC will be held in person on Thursday, Aug. 14, at the beautiful Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa/Short Pump in Richmond, Virginia. We are seeking engaging and innovative presentation proposals to inspire our expected 350+ attendees, showcase leading-edge solutions and foster knowledge sharing.

The COV Information Security Conference provides a platform for information security professionals to share insights, best practices, and actionable recommendations. Attendees value engaging, informative, and articulate speakers whose practical examples help expand their capabilities.

This year, we are excited to offer three presentation tracks to encourage deeper interaction between speakers and attendees:

Tracks:

  • Leadership/Soft skills: High-level discussions showcasing C-Suite mindset development, leadership skills and professional growth strategies
  • VITA focus: Training sessions centered around VITA policies, processes and solutions designed specifically for state employees
  • Technical: Advanced, hands-on presentations featuring innovative solutions, demonstrations and workshops

To submit your proposal, please complete this Microsoft Form by Friday, May 9.

If you have any questions or encounter technical issues with your submission, please contact Maurice Coles or Johanna Opolski at ISConferenceCFP@vita.virginia.gov.

We look forward to receiving your proposals and making the 2025 COV ISC an exceptional event!

Thank you,
COV Information Security Conference Committee
