Join us in March to learn more about the procurement process during our quarterly IT procurement training sessions at VITA. Sessions cover commonly asked IT procurement questions and inform agency personnel on VITA's processes, procedures and role in IT oversight and governance.

The next session is scheduled for March 4 - 6 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at VITA headquarters, in training room #108 in The Boulders. Virtual options are available, but attendees are encouraged to attend in-person as there are limited seats available in the virtual option. Registration closes end of day Feb. 25.  

Who should attend? 

Agency staff can choose which half-day session to attend based on the topic. Each session has a specific area of focus, and all agency stakeholders are encouraged to attend the training in its entirety to enhance their knowledge of IT procurement. Target audience includes the following, but any interested staff in IT procurement are invited to attend:  

• Agency IT resources (AITRs) 

• IT procurement resources 

• IT project managers 

• Information security officers (ISOs) and resources 

• IT subject matter experts (SMEs) and business owners
