State agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia have a wealth of great technology talent and success stories that deserve to be recognized! NASCIO is currently accepting submissions for multiple awards. We encourage you to review these opportunities and consider submitting an entry. 

NASCIO State Technology Innovator Award 

Due: June 25 

This award honors outstanding individuals who have made contributions to advance the state’s technology policy agenda through the promotion of best practices, adoption of new technologies and advancements in service delivery. 

NASCIO Thomas M Jarrett State Cybersecurity Leadership Award 

Due: June 25 

Honors state chief information security officers for exceptional accomplishments in their field. The award pays homage to Thomas M. Jarrett, past president of NASCIO, who had a passion for state IT and cybersecurity. 

NASCIO State IT Recognition Awards 

Due: June 1 

This award honors transformational projects and initiatives that address critical business problems, improve business processes and elevate the citizen experience.
