Keyaan Williams - COV ICS 2025 keynote speaker

The ISC 2025 council is thrilled to unveil the first keynote speaker for its annual Information Security Conference (ISC), returning Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Hilton. This highly anticipated event brings together cybersecurity leaders from across the industry to explore what’s next for the future of security in a rapidly evolving technology environment.

Registration is now open

The conference will include expert presentations for those with responsibilities for managing, auditing or assessing information security in their organizations in the spirit of fulfilling our shared mission of securing information. Conference participants will have the opportunity to learn and share ideas with security-minded colleagues while hearing about the latest security products and services. Our just-announced morning keynote speaker is risk governance leader Keyaan J. Williams.

Mr. Williams is known globally for enterprise risk, cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI programs he has created and deployed for global organizations in various industries. In addition to leadership of a management consulting firm, he actively serves as a board director and advisor for commercial and non-profit organizations.

His keynote entitled, “Beyond GRC: How governance of enterprise risk can transform the security and resilience of modern organizations,” will encourage attendees to move beyond compliance management often produced by GRC frameworks and instead inspire them to use “classical governance” principles to engage the board, the c-suite, and the entire organization in activities that meaningfully reduce risk and ensure promises made to stakeholder are delivered successfully.
