Chapter 1 - VITA's Purpose and Scope

In accordance with VITA’s IT Operations Policies and Procedures for Third-Party Use, effective 12/15/16, and found here: https://www.vita.virginia.gov/technology-services/catalog-services/cloud-services/cloud-third-party-use-policy/, agencies desiring a cloud-based solution (i.e., Software as a Service) for any procurement, must comply with the procedures and obtain the approvals described in this policy.
