    • Remains highly relevant as the backbone of cloud-native ecosystems—integral to tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes 1.

    • Despite ecosystem fatigue, it's retained due to its ubiquity; however, modern platforms are minimizing hand-written YAML by leveraging auto-generated workflows and abstractions

    • YAML is a superset of JSON.

  • Yottabyte (YB)

    Definition

    A unit of digital storage equal to 1024 bytes. Used mostly in theoretical or large-scale capacity planning discussions.

    Definition
