Cloud cost estimates

This webpage provides agencies with clear examples of cloud cost estimates across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). It includes vendor raw pricing, VITA adjusted formulas and walkthrough videos to help agencies understand how cloud costs are calculated and how VITA determines chargeback amounts.

The formulas apply the standard 10% discount and then add the required VITA markup that is specific to each cloud provider, resulting in the final adjusted cost used for chargeback.

These examples are intended to serve as unofficial estimates for training and guidance only and may not reflect final billed amounts. The page is designed as a simple, self-guided resource that allows users to recreate estimates on their own using standard cloud calculators.
