VITA is hiring two digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) analysts, as well as two DFIR senior analysts. All positions are part of the Commonwealth security and risk management (CSRM) division, a team that responds to more than 30 million cyberattack attempts and blocks more than half a million pieces of malware on the Commonwealth's network every year.
DFIR analysts contribute to identifying potential threats, performing preliminary investigations and helping classify incidents. Senior DFIR analysts are responsible for supervising these functions as well as coordinating timely and effective statewide responses to security threats.
