The Virginia IT Agency (VITA) is offering another informative training, this time to help Commonwealth of Virginia (COV) agency staff better understand the information technology (IT) procurement process. Three half-day training sessions will cover commonly asked IT procurement questions as well as VITA's processes, procedures and role in IT oversight and governance.

IT procurement training is scheduled for March 10-12 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each day.

See the full agenda and get registration information on the VITA website.

Who should attend?

Suggested attendees include the following, but any interested COV staff involved in IT procurement are invited to attend:

  • Agency IT resources (AITRs)
  • IT procurement resources
  • IT project managers
  • Information security officers (ISOs) and resources
