Secret Service Special Agent James LaMattina discussed skimming at the Jan. 6 meeting of the Commonwealth's Information Security Officers Advisory Group (ISOAG). Skimming is a type of fraud where a bank card is compromised by a card reader disguised to look like a part of the machine. Commonwealth Chief Information Security Officer Michael Watson and VITA hosted the meeting.
