Hosted Mail Archiving (HMA) service is an enterprise-wide solution that will allow for any customer receiving standard messaging services through COV enterprise email to archive all inbound and outbound emails. This solution includes storage for all mail archives for the period determined by the customer's retention policies.
Hosted mail options:
View - end users can reference all of the information captured in their HMA archive until that data reaches its' retention policy. No new emails from Gmail will be added to the HMA archive.
View + journaling - end users can reference all of the information captured in their HMA archive until that data reaches its retention policy and new emails from Gmail will be added to the HMA archive.
Effective 12/15/18, this service can be ordered from the VITA Service Catalog in the new VITA Service Portal. To submit your request:
If you are uncertain as to whether you have a COV account, start by trying to access the VITA Service Portal. If you are unable to do so, then use the email-to-the-VCCC method.
