Funding to CMRS* providers for eligible wireless 911 costs. This service includes cost recovery for reasonable and direct costs for the provisioning of wireless E-911 services. Each year, CMRS providers submit to the Board an estimate of the wireless E-911 CMRS costs it expects to incur during the next fiscal year for review and approval by the Board.
Only CMRS providers with customers whose place of primary use is within the Commonwealth are eligible for wireless E-911 cost recovery.
Pursuant to Code of Va. § 56-484.17, CMRS providers with customers whose place of primary use is within the Commonwealth are eligible for wireless E-911 services cost recovery.
