Dogwood is VITA's identity management system designed to streamline the administration of user account requests and provide a means for users to securely maintain their own account details.

What does Dogwood do for me?

Dogwood provides self-service features that permit the user to change account information instead of contacting the VITA Customer Care Center ( VCCC), in most circumstances. Self-service features allow the user to:

• Update account information
• I forgot my password
• I forgot my user name
• My Dogwood account has expired

Dogwood-enabled Applications

Dogwood allows users to request access to specific Dogwood-enabled applications and also sends periodic e-mail messages reminding users that their Dogwood account password is about to expire.

Currently, you need only one Dogwood account to access the following Dogwood-enabled VITA applications:

• Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (Prosight)

To request a Dogwood account for the first time, visit the homepage of the application you wish to access. Look for the Dogwood toolbar. The toolbar will guide you through the steps to have a VCCC representative assist you with account creation. You can then submit your request for access to the application. Permissions to the application are authorized by the application owner.

If you already have a Dogwood account and wish to request access to another Website or application, visit the homepage of the application you wish to access. Look for the Dogwood toolbar.
