February ISOAG meeting held at CESC

153 people participated in the Commonwealth's Information Security Officers Advisory Group (ISOAG) meeting Feb. 1. Peter Tsengas, Benjamin Sady and John Richardson, Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, presented ideas on how to conduct effective data sensitivity classifications, risk assessments, and IT security audits. Paige Pilarski and Nick Sanna's, Risklens, presentation focused on moving beyond compliance to a risk based approach to cybersecurity. Bill Freda, VITA, gave an overview on the commonwealth vulnerability scanning initiative. The session was hosted by Commonwealth Chief Information Security Officer Michael Watson and VITA.
