Information Security Tips

Virginia.gov is a public-private partnership between Virginia Interactive, LLC and the Commonwealth that assists Virginia government entities in providing information services via the Internet. Virginia.gov also manages Virginia's official government homepage or portal, located on the Web at www.virginia.gov. Under the guidance of VITA, the Secretary of Technology and the Governor, Virginia.gov strives to enhance Virginia's standing as a national and worldwide leader in providing electronic government (eGov) services. Effective July 1, 2003, Virginia.gov became a Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) business partner. Both Virginia.gov and VITA staff provide E-government services.
