In addition to VITA managed services, network and telecommunications products and services are also available for purchase through existing VITA statewide contracts by qualified government organizations without normal costs and delays associated with public procurement process. Statewide contracts have been established according to the law through competitive solicitations and are eligible to public entities in Virginia for purchase of services directly from the vendor without having to first go out for competitive bid before award.
