Governor McAuliffe’s RUOnlineVa initiative

In May, Governor McAuliffe announced a new initiative, RUOnlineVA, which gives Virginians an opportunity to log their need for Internet service. The goal of the initiative is to help the Governor and other policy makers understand where broadband connectivity is needed most. RUOnlineVA is led by the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) in partnership with Virginia Tech’s Center for Geospatial Information Technology (CGIT).
