Governor McAuliffe today announced that he will host his first-ever Cyber-Physical Systems Summit on September 20 - 22, 2016 at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility in Newport News, Virginia. The summit is being conducted in conjunction with the National Governor’s Association and is an extension of Governor McAuliffe’s Chairman’s initiative Meet the Threat: States Confront the Cyber Challenge. The purpose of Governor McAuliffe’s Cyber-Physical Systems Summit is to build awareness of the growing challenges associated with securing autonomous systems, critical infrastructure, and the Internet of Things.
