Only three openings remain in the 2016 Workforce Innovation Datathon Challenge. The competition offers an opportunity for Virginians to have a direct impact on how the government uses data and technology to improve workforce efforts. In creating and submitting entries to the Workforce Innovation Datathon Challenge, individuals will be able to face and solve real-world problems through hands-on experiences. Entries in the competition have been received from agencies, counties and students all across Virginia. The two-day challenge will be held Aug. 25-26 at the Library of Virginia. Top teams will be invited to final judging at the Commonwealth of Virginia Innovative Technology Symposium (COVITS) on Sept. 7.
