The November edition of Information Security Tips discusses the multiple looks that Malware uses to disguise itself. An example are drive-by downloads that occur when a program is downloaded onto your device without your permission. One way this happens is through malicious advertising or malvertising. When malicious actors purchase advertising space on the edge of Web pages, they can install malware in the advertisement that will automatically try to download.
